Bank Holidays are all too busy on the roads and everywhere you go. What better antidote than to potter up to the Club and while away a pleasant day or two with friends and family and other club members? Alas, not very much wind was on tap but we do have a nearly full reservoir. And certainly ideal for canoeing and paddleboarding. Pleasant for a barbecue, drink, natter and overnight stay too, so 10 of us did just that. Two of our boat operators also took the opportunity to have a refresher. Several have now had recent practice and the engine has just been serviced ... all set for the next event weekend in 3 weeks time!
