How to Join.

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

We pride ourselves on being a friendly club - everyone is ready to help and to learn from each other. You're also welcome to 'try before you buy' - have a look at our Visitors & Day Sailing page then maybe come along and sample the atmosphere, the wind and the water!

If you'd like to know more please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  our membership secretary Darren, or phone him on 07734 082739. He'll be happy to help.

Please note : you'll need £2M third party insurance cover to sail at the club. This comes free as a part of RYA membership and is often included in household insurance too - just check the small print on your policy or give the insurer a ring to make sure they don't class windsurfing as a 'dangerous sport'. Alternatively, google windsurfing insurance and you'll probably get cover for about £13 or so.

If you join part way through the year and opt to pay by monthly standing order we ask for a cheque to make your subs up to 12 x the monthly payment. For example, if you join in July we ask for a cheque for £30 (3 x £10/month for an individual) as well as the standing order payments.

Note: Winter membership is available at a reduced rate - please contact our Membership Secretary for details. Normal annual membership starts 1st April.

Our application forms also have details of day sailing rates and of board storage.

I'm thinking about going tomorrow, Sunday, for a couple of hours. Cold but decent wind and direction, not much rain, mainly dry hopefully. Anybody else fancy it?

davemonks - 15/03/2019 - 18:12
