Saturday 15th April was the best day of the long weekend. Though it barely reached 11C, at least the wind was the Force 4, nudging 5, that xcweather had forecast. And it was mostly dry. We wobbled out past the wind shadow from the trees in the WNW wind and then bingo! Wind, and enough of it. 6.5m seemed to be the order of the day. At least 12 sailors took full advantage. Here's how it looked ....

Oh, and we also found time to do some more tidying up in the Clubhouse, put up some signs in the bottom car park and are continuing slowly to make the place a bit nicer!

Planned to sail later this afternoon, but got workmen in, so may not be able to make it after all. Enjoy those that make it!

Likewise John, everything crossed for Wednesday after work, no other wind on the forecasts for a while otherwise

JohnL - 14/05/2018 - 13:57

Hoping there's enough wind for a sail after work on Wednesday

MikeS - 13/05/2018 - 12:36

On a day when even I could have got up in time for Fleetwood, the wind lets us down! Taking a run up to the club this afternoon. Fingers crossed for enough wind!
